Themed Insert Sets:
Featuring a variety of card stocks and sensational designs, the themed insert lineup is full returning favorites alongside fresh content sure to be a hit with collectors. Here is a summary of the offering:
All-Galactic Team: This classic set features only 10 players - all outstanding. Each player image is popped-out on an out-of-this-world design!
Fresh Foundation: Another classic! Collect all 20 cards featuring the best-of-the best from the 2026-27 rookie class.
Glitched (New!): This new 20-card set features a mix of rookies, young stars and superstars on a background inspired by 80’s-style linework.
Skybox Premium Prospects: More rookies! This longtime Metal Universe standard features all the top players in the rookie class. There are also the ever-popular Star Rubies, Star Emeralds and Star Diamonds parallel sets to collect.
Starmen (New!): This new and amazing-looking set features only players (20 in total) that have played for just one team. Each card will employ one of the team’s colors in the background.
- Collect 10 cards per box, on average, from these five sets.
- Look for numbered non-autograph parallels of each, including #’d to 10’s and 1-of-1’s!
- There are numbered and non-numbered autograph parallels too, highlighted by the 1-of-1 Gold Auto parallel of the All-Galactic Team set!
- A variety of foilboards are used across the numbered parallels!
Dark Matter: This popular set is printed on soft-touch stock and many of the players in the loaded checklist are getting their first Dark Matter card! These spectacular cards fall just two (2) per case, on average.
Moon Walkers (New!): This new foilboard set with special texturing will be a hit. It is also a one-and-done set, so this will be the only chance to collect Moon Walkers cards - each one featuring a star veteran or a top rookie! Collect six (6) per case, on average, and keep an eye out for more sensational Moon Walkers cards from these parallel sets: Red (#’d), Blue (#’d to 50), Green (#’d to 15) and Gold (#’d 1-of-1).
Space Voids (New!): The all-new Space Voids cards will be a cool addition to your collection. This set is also printed on soft-touch stock and the checklist consists of star veterans and a handful of top rookies. Each case will contain, on average, four (4) of these cards.
Eat At (New!): Superstars and top rookies only! Collect all 20 cards from this fun, one-of-a-kind neon sign die-cut set!
Championship Galaxy: Another Metal Universe classic! Each of these stunning four-sided die-cut cards will feature a star veteran or top rookie.
Microcosms (New!): Everyone is going to want to add this four-sided die-cut original art set to their collection! Each card is printed on the same stock as the iconic Jambalaya cards and features an amazing player. These cards, along with the Overture cards, are the rarest of these six themed insert sets but see if you can collect all 20!
Overture (New!): This 15-card set consists of four-sided die-cut cards mimicking music sheets (with notes presented using sticks and pucks). The checklist contains only the best-of-the-best from the 2026-27 rookie class!
Shining Through (New!): The cards in this two-sided, 20-card die-cut set will come in one of four colors (Green, Red, Gold or Blue) and will feature one of the best players in the world.
Telescopes (New!): More of the best players in the world with a couple rookies sprinkled in! See if you can collect all 15 cards, each featuring the player pictured in the lens of the telescope.
